Navigating the intersection of cybersecurity, stress, and risk

According to a 2023 report by Cynet, 94% of surveyed CISOs are grappling with work-induced stress, with 65% admitting to its impact on their organizational defense capabilities. Moreover, approximately 8 in 10 employees note that work-linked stress adversely affects their physical and mental health.

Stress impacts cybersecurity on two fronts. Cyber professionals are contending with ongoing threats and enduring taxing hours, which lead to errors and compromised judgments. Simultaneously, strained employees exhibit reduced threat awareness, rendering them susceptible to phishing and social engineering on their company devices. This underscores the relevance of integrating mental health and mindfulness into best cybersecurity practices.

In this episode of Jamf Security Lounge, Jamf will be joined by a panel of experts on this topic –  Jasmine and Yvonne Eskenzi, the founders of the wellbeing and productivity app The Zensory and Christine Gordon-Bennett, Cybersecurity Awareness Manager, Nedbank Group.

They will discuss:

  • How Nedbank reduced phishing clicks by 70% in 3 months with their mindful security campaign alongside The Zensory
  • How healthy work environments and hybrid work models can enhance employee focus
  • How to create strategies and tactics for security consciousness and lasting change

Join them on 10 October, 14:00–14:45 BST | 15:00–15:45 CET
